Is AS art worth it?

To be honest, there is a big difference between GCSE and AS art. GCSE is filled with experimentation and finding your abilities yet AS is more focused on how you use those abilities with imagination. The examiners are much more focused on the quality rather than the quantity, as for GCSE quantity was a highly demanded factor. Wanting to combine my future with Art and Design, I am required to have decent grades in Art and Design. Yet in this post I will focus on the actual journey of my year 12 Art experience.  First of all, the amount of work you are expected to produce is around the same amount as for GCSE yet with much less time. To be exact, I had to produce the same amount of work as for GCSE in 8 months. Fun isnt it? It gets better. Doing sixth form, learning to combine subjects together and not falling behind is the key.
